People Tree Shoot.

So for my last project, I had to organise/art direct/ style two photoshoots; one for the Fair Trade brand People Tree, the other for 125 Magazine. 125 Pics soon to follow! I'll just say a little bit about the brand and then post the pictures - let me know what you think.
People Tree are a Fair Trade, ecological and organic brand, currently selling in Topshop Oxford Circus as well as a store in Japan. Ranging from chunky knits to smart evening wear, they aim to fight exploitation of workers, improving the lives and environment of the artisans and farmers in developing countries who work to produce their clothes. They make use of local skills such as hand embroidery and hand stitching, and use organic cottons.
My job was to put together a branded editorial/look book for the company, sourcing the clothes from the People Tree press office and putting together great outfits. I'm very happy with the outcome and am sending the pictures off to People Tree this week. Thank you to everyone who was involved, was funnn!
