. Welcome To Jamrock .

Each term at LCF, we have to produce, art direct, and style a shoot - then we get graded on our final pictures and the sketchbook that goes along with it. After recently returning from a holiday in Jamaica, I decided to research into the country and found myself really inspired - I ended up basing my project on/ creating an editorial inspired by the country. Damian Marley's 'Welcome to Jamrock' lyrics got me really thinking about the depths of the country that tourists and holiday makers never really see. When one thinks of Jamaica, the general consensus is to see sun, beautiful beaches, marijuana and red stripe. But sadly, Jamaica is a country that is in a lot of trouble - Violence, prostitution, and a corrupt government are just a few of the issues Jamaica is facing. So i decided to write a hench essay on the corruption of the government (don't worry i wont bore you with it!) and produce an editorial inspired by my research. I worked alongside a fantastic team, and am pleased with the outcome.

Here are some shots of me prepping the model:

Hey! No problem about the comment, I really loved that shoot! I don't know why anyone would have anything negative to say about it or you. Just stalked the past 10 pages of your blog, you're really lovely! And I love the variety of inspiration. I just might have to post the 60's shoot on my blog, SO awesome. And this shoot above is really neat, I love the collaboration of fashion and global awareness. Just added you to my bloglovin'! Yay

Wow, this is exactly the kind of thing I want to be doing at university.
What are you studying at LCF? and what is the job of the "art director"?
I'm currently researching into fashion universities - would it be okay if I asked you some more questions? :)
