The Man Bag.

For many proud heterosexual men, a man bag is out of the question. However I believe, as proved by most Spring/Summer 10 collections, that having a man bag is COOL. That being said, there are certain do's and don'ts when it comes to choosing said bag. For example, don't buy the bag if it is the size of, or smaller than, an A4 sheet of paper. Over sized bags are best in my opinion, whether it be a satchel or a bowling bag. Fashion Week S/S 10 saw designers such as Dolce and Gabbana, John Richmond, Vivienne Westwood, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and BurberryProrsum send over sized man bags down the catwalk.

There are plenty swarming around the high street too - I love this one from Diesel:

And this Pringle Bowling bag (available on ASOS):

And finally, another ASOS find, this Jas M.B. vintage leather bag:

Vintage man bags are my fave - the more distressed and worn out the leather looks, the better! Yay lets all go out and buy man bags xxx

A man bag is definitely out of the question for me no doubt. Gosh, I can't even imagine where I'd keep all my daily essentials (Blackberry, keys, wallet, etc) if I didn't have one!

Times have changed. Eight out of ten men in the UK now carry a man bag according to a More Than survey published earlier this year.

The vintage looking ones are definitely my faves too, they're more masculine than the studded/fabric ones.
