New Shoot

Soo at uni we were sectioned off into groups with 3 stylist/photographers and 2 make up artists and given a brief. As a practice for this brief, we had a shoot the other day. Two guests from Hong Kong Design Institute came in and lectured us, and distributed a piece of clothing from different Hong Kong designers to each group that we had to style, and my group were given a pair of William Tang leggings (which we used on the arms of one outfit). The concept was interlinking Hong Kong Fashion with British fashion for Autumn/Winter 09 - here's what we came up with:

I did the photography, the gorgeous Lucie Parry modelled for us, whilst myself, Emily Rajch, and Debbie Chaung did the styling, and the hair/makeup was by Joolie Kerr and Mena Bhella. Great team! We played about with shapes for the first look by taking aspects from Balenciaga's s/s 08 collection and many a/w 09 catwalks - emphasized shoulders and rounded hips, with a cinched waist. The second look was about ruffles with a hint of dog tooth print coming through on the tights - both key looks for a/w. Mission accomplished!
